HANDMADE CERAMIC BEAR PATTERNED ORNAMENT
Using a cookie cutter, Noelle and Scott cut out each individual ornament from a sheet of stoneware clay. Once a hole is made for hanging and they are completely dry, the ornaments are fired in the kiln to 1900 degrees for a bisque firing. Then they are glazed by hand with a clear glaze and fired again to 2600 degrees. Finally the decorative patterning is hand cut and applied on top the glaze and the pieces are fired a final time for a decal firing. Once cool, strings are added for hanging and the ornaments are ready for you to enjoy and share with family and friends.
*Please note that pattern placement may vary slightly from one ornament to the next as will the string color used.
