Rosalie Haizlett Print - Appalachian Mountains Map

This beautiful print is based on a watercolor illustration by West Virginia artist Rosalie Haizlett.

Rosalie has this to say about her work:

This print features a detailed, hand-painted watercolor painting that I created to showcase the entire Appalachian Mountain range of North America, which extends from northern Alabama to Newfoundland in Canada. The map highlights 9 sub-ranges that can be found within the mountains. Other illustrative elements include a landscape scene from Newfound Gap in the Smoky Mountains, ferns and purple mushrooms.

My prints are created by a local print shop in West Virginia and they are printed on heavy, textured paper for the look and feel of watercolor paper. I sign each print before it goes off to its new home.
