Cat In Ball Chair Linocut Print

This two color, 8" x 10” linocut print of a cat taking a cozy little nap in a 60s ball chair was designed and made by Augury Press in Portland, Oregon.  

What is a linocut print? A linocut print is created by carving a design into a block of linoleum, rolling ink onto the surface and laying paper or fabric on top then applying pressure to produce a print one color at a time. It is a handmade relief printing process very similar to woodcut.
