Practical Magic House Linocut Print

This four color, 9" x 12” linocut print of the house from Practical Magic printed on tan paper bordered with rosemary and lavender was designed and made by Augury Press in Portland, Oregon.  

What is a linocut print? A linocut print is created by carving a design into a block of linoleum, rolling ink onto the surface and laying paper or fabric on top then applying pressure to produce a print one color at a time. It is a handmade relief printing process very similar to woodcut.
