At least 7 states, including West Virginia, have recently passed laws prohibiting transgender athletes from participating in sports at the middle school, high school and college levels, and many more states are considering this move.
This kind of discrimination leaves members of the transgender community feeling delegitimized, contributes to a culture of transgender people being viewed as "other" or less worthy, and is often used as a way to further the political divide and energize the right wing extremists of the Republican Party.
Noelle designed this shirt with the help of Huntington Pride Board President, Ally Layman in an effort to show support for transgender athletes of all ages and to bring awareness to this important issue.
All Full Circle shirts feature original designs created by Noelle in our Huntington, West Virginia shop and studio.
Locally screen printed on a super soft Bella + Canvas Unisex Triblend Tee.
**A portion of all proceeds from this shirt will be donated to The Trevor Project , a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.**
