This beautiful print is based on a watercolor illustration by West Virginia artist Rosalie Haizlett.
Rosalie has this to say about her work:
This art print, the first in my "Mountain Rhythms" series, is a celebration of traditional old-time music and nature. It showcases a weather-worn fiddle surrounded by autumnal forest floor detritus like mosses, ferns, twigs and fallen leaves. There are also three insects hidden in the artwork: a comma butterfly, bluet damselfly and a pleasing fungus beetle.
My prints are created by a local print shop in West Virginia and they are printed on heavy, textured paper for the look and feel of watercolor paper. I sign each print before it goes off to its new home.
