Rosalie Haizlett Print - New River Gorge Map

This beautiful print is based on a watercolor illustration by West Virginia artist Rosalie Haizlett.

Rosalie has this to say about her work:

Are you as in love with the New River Gorge as I am? This original art print features a watercolor and ink illustrated map that I created during my artist residency at New River Gorge National Park in Spring 2019.

I spent a month soaking up the scenery and trails and community there and fell in love with the place. This map project was so much fun because it encouraged me to get to know the ins and outs of the region and talk to locals about what they love about the Gorge. I hope you like it!

The print was created locally by a small print shop in West Virginia. I used a heavy, textured paper for the look and feel of watercolor paper.
